1. What RoutinePoint is, today
The version of RoutinePoint available for demo use is a product prototype. It does not process real payments, does not create persistent accounts, and should not be used to manage real appointments or take real money from customers.
2. Accounts (once live)
You'll be responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, and for the accuracy of the information you provide. Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of their listed services, prices and cancellation policies.
3. Payments (once live)
RoutinePoint is expected to charge businesses $20/month per active business location after a 15-day free trial. DailyPlan will remain free for customers. Payments between a customer and a business happen directly via the method that business enables (card, Bit, cash, on-site) โ RoutinePoint is not a party to that transaction and does not take a cut.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use RoutinePoint to book appointments in bad faith, harass a business or its staff through in-app messaging, or attempt to circumvent a business's stated cancellation policy in a way that causes them financial harm.
5. Cancellation policies
Each business sets its own cancellation policy (whether a service is cancellable, and how much notice is required). RoutinePoint enforces the policy as configured but is not responsible for disputes between a customer and a business about a specific cancellation.
6. Termination
Either side can close an account at any time. We may suspend an account for abuse, fraud, or non-payment (for business accounts past due).
7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is." RoutinePoint is a scheduling and payments-facilitation tool โ we are not liable for the quality of services rendered by a business, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Changes to these terms
We'll post updates here and, for material changes, notify account holders directly.
